Colors of Spiti

Can we define an abstract?

Never can I define an emotion. May be that's why I photograph.

A photograph speaks a thousand words or more.

The stories of human and earth, of little and large.

Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of Himachal Pradhesh. 'Spiti' means 'The middle land', the land between Tibet and India. Spiti has its culture and life built on heavy influence of Buddhism, earning the name Little Tibet. Rudyard Kipling in his book 'Kim' describes Spiti as: "At last they entered a world within a world – a valley of leagues where the high hills were fashioned of the mere rubble and refuse from off the knees of the mountains… surely the Gods live here".
